Photo Tagging for Pages - Facebook

Starting today, people have the ability to tag Pages in their photos on Facebook in the same way they can tag their friends. Photo tagging for Facebook Pages enables people to share richer stories with friends about the things they interact with in the real-world, such as businesses, brands, celebrities, and musicians.

A Page can be tagged anywhere that someone can view a photo in the photo viewer. These photos will appear on the Photos tab on the Page, and not on the Wall. In addition, a Page can be tagged by anyone on Facebook, not just people who have Liked your Page.

For now, only Pages within the Brands & Products or People categories brands, can be tagged in photos. We're looking to expand this functionality to more Page categories over time.

To tag a single photo you are viewing:
  1. Click the photo you wish to tag and select "Tag This Photo" below the photo.
  2. Type the name of the people or product Page you wish to tag.
  3. Repeat this process for every Page in the photo that you would like to tag.
  4. Click "Done Tagging" in the bottom left corner.

The privacy of the photo is always respected when a Page is tagged in a photo. If a photo post is published to “everyone,” then it can appear publicly on the Photos tab of the Page and the Page admins can see it. If it’s just published for someone’s friends, only their friends will be able to see that photo. Page Admins can always choose to disable tagged photos from appearing on the Photos tab by going into Edit Page > Posting Options > and unchecking “Users can add photos”.

URL Direction Checker

URL Redirection Checker

Many shortened URL redirection out there sometimes makes us confuse about how to see the real URL shared by people around us. We should be careful indeed when we click those URL, as we dont really have any idea where the URL will be redirected exactly. We can actually see the real URL from some URL redirection services like goo.gl, tinyURL or bit.ly if we know how to.

Below, i’m gonna share a little trick on how to see the real URL of this kind of shortened URL. URL Redirection Checker Tool is also available to use for free at the end of this post. I made this tool just to check where any suspicious URL will go.  Ok, lets talk about some famous URL shortened services, and the trick how to peek the real URL :

  1. Goo.gl
Normally, when people shorten their URL using goo.gl, we can see the info of the URL by adding “/info/” before the last URL code, for example :
    - This URL : http://goo.gl/rgg8a
    - We can see the info at this URL : http://goo.gl/info/rgg8a
  2. TinyURL.com
Simply add preview before the real URL, for example :
    - This URL : http://tinyurl.com/6f9se2g
    - We can see the real URL at this URL : http://preview.tinyurl.com/6f9se2g
  3. Bit.ly
We can even the real URL by adding “+” char at the end of the sortened URL. For example :
    - This URL : http://bit.ly/hRqjAW
    - We can see the real URL at this URL : http://bit.ly/dRC0YF+
That’s just several examples, there are actually a lot more trick to see another kind of shortened URL, i cant type them all here. Most URL redirection services usually have their own way to see the real URL, so people can feel safer before clicking any URL shortened their user have created.
OK, now you at least know how to see the real URL, but what if the URL is shortened many times plus by different URL shortened services? Will you check them one by one? That’s why i made this tool below to help you analyze where the URL will go. Please notice that this tool will not work for pushed to click, javascript or meta redirect like adf.ly or lnk.in.

HTML5

HTML5 is a language for structuring and presenting content for the World Wide Web, a core technology of the Internet. It is the latest revision of the HTML standard (originally created in 1990) and currently remains under development. Its core aims have been to improve the language with support for the latest multimedia while keeping it easily readable by humans and consistently understood by computers and devices (web browsersparsers etc.).
Following its immediate predecessors HTML 4.01 and XHTML 1.1, HTML5 is a response to the observation that the HTML and XHTML in common use on the World Wide Web is a mixture of features introduced by various specifications, along with those introduced by software products such as web browsers, those established by common practice, and the many syntax errors in existing web documents. It is also an attempt to define a single markup language that can be written in either HTML or XHTML syntax. It includes detailed processing models to encourage more interoperable implementations; it extends, improves and rationalises the markup available for documents, and introduces markup and APIs for complex web applications.
In particular, HTML5 adds many new syntactical features. These include the <video><audio>, and <canvas>elements, as well as the integration of SVG content. These features are designed to make it easy to include and handle multimedia and graphical content on the web without having to resort to proprietary plugins and APIs. Other new elements, such as <section><article><header>, and <nav>, are designed to enrich the semanticcontent of documents. New attributes have been introduced for the same purpose, while some elements and attributes have been removed. Some elements, such as <a><cite> and <menu> have been changed, redefined or standardised. The APIs and DOM are no longer afterthoughts, but are fundamental parts of the HTML5 specification.HTML5 also defines in some detail the required processing for invalid documents, so that syntax errors will be treated uniformly by all conforming browsers and other user agents.( Wiki )

Change Favicon of your Blog

What is Favicon?

Favicon.ico (short for 'favorites icon') is, generally, the small graphic/animated icon which web designer put them on the title of the webpage. Favicon appears in front of the web address in visitor’s browser’s address bar. Also, favicon could appear on title bar and in front of the title in bookmark listing. In the past, favicon can be only static image (non-movable) but at present time we can see many type of movable graphics (Animated Favicon) that web designers use for their favicon.
if you are quit conscious about design! then you  must need this thing on your website too ;)
it is not difficult any one can do this easily.

Example:

Step 1

create an image of 32 x 32 size (use Adobe Photoshop or any whatever you like)
Step 2

upload your Image where you usually do for your Blog
Suggestion - (try these free Photo Hosts photobucket or tinypic)

Step 3
Now you need to generate the code for favicon to work with your Blog

Step 4
Now you have the code copy the code and go to your Blog Design > Edit HTML > paste the code before </head> Tag

Simple and Easy

Check your site Page Rank!

What is Page Rank?

PageRank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web. Google figures that when one page links to another page, it is effectively casting a vote for the other page. The more votes that are cast for a page, the more important the page must be. Also, the importance of the page that is casting the vote determines how important the vote itself is. Google calculates a page's importance from the votes cast for it. How important each vote is taken into account when a page's PageRank is calculated.
PageRank is Google's way of deciding a page's importance. It matters because it is one of the factors that determines a page's ranking in the search results. It isn't the only factor that Google uses to rank pages, but it is an important one.
