The lawyers for the Florida mother accused of murder, Casey Anthony, began inspecting evidence on Tuesday under the watchful eye of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. Attorneys and their forensic experts have just two days to sift through what WFTV calls “stacks of evidence.” The entire inspection is being videotaped.
Casey is accused of killing her toddler daughter, Caylee Anthony, in the summer of 2008.
In the meantime, Casey’s legal team wants to keep the list of evidence sealed and filed a motion entitled “Objection to Release of Documents Related to Intended Defense Review of Evidence.” In the filing, the defense argues the media may be able to obtain the information by garnering a copy of the videotaped inspection.
