Today is a great day in IV history!
We filed our AOS last week (EB3 PD Jan 2007). My wife is currently pregnant and so she could not take all the vaccinations that are required in the medicals. She did the other required medicals though.
My question: Will this cause our applications to be denied? OR will they allow my wife to get the shots after our baby is born?
Anyone with experience please help.

As per company immigration HR, "since H1B extension was filed (Jun-06-2008) one week after GC labor filing (May-29-2008), we can apply next H1B extension based on May-01-2011 expiry".
Can you please reaffirm that we ought to file extension based on April 16, 2010 and not May-01-2011.

I have an MS degree in Materials Science & Engg, but work in IT. My 1st H1 transfer was denied, but the 2nd time it was approved with lesser documentation. Although I feel I am qualified in my capacity, of course I am very Thankful & Grateful (for now, I still have a long ways to go :p) Go figure, that is USCIS!! PM me if I can try help you further. Don't worry, there is always hope.

Maybe you should combine his/her statement with body language. Did the IO raise the eyebrows, smirk, frown etc and word-smith the statement. Was it 'pre-adjudicated' (past tense) or 'will be pre-adjudicated' (future tense) or something else. 'pre-adjudicated under review', first half is contradicting the second half of the statement. 'Pre-adjudicated' could mean everything is clear and waiting for a visa number. 'Under review' could mean something else...additional review ?

India is in the process of having social security agreements with France and Germany.

Don't know about anything with the US happening anytime soon. But it would definitely help those who worked here contributed to the one-way SSA pool and left before 10 years.They never got to have the social security benefits. If work visas are made available relatively easily and job openings go up in these countries, people would prefer going to these countries rather than to the US.

I don't have any of the "fuzzball" pic's handy where as I've been deleting them as they come... I'll take some later tonight and post them...

First idea: put the lens to manual focus, and try that on a tripod. Perhaps the focus point got moved, and the camera is attempting to focus on black sky? This test would attempt to eliminate that.
As I stated originally, the first half'dozen + photo's I took of the moon where over the course of 2 nights... and each of them were taken "handheld", with "full'auto" On. All the other settings were out of the box defaults. And every one of them were "in focus" as they appeared in the viewfinder. 2 weeks later when I attempted somemore moon'shots was when I realized that something was different. "Every" shot from then on of the moon was as I've been discribing. I've attempted more than 2 dozen shots via "Manual focus while on a Tripod, using the Timer". And the results are identical to the current "hand'held" photo's. As for the focus point... I've set the camera to lock in via "single area" bracket selection as discribed on page 67 of the manual. I've even gone as far as to focus in on the moon in "auto" mode and then switched over to "manual" mode, set the timer, and still the same thing...

Consult immigration attroney at AOS time. F1 visa holder is not eligible to be included as dependents in AOS (I-485). Since now retrogression problem is there and currently you are planning to file I-140, you will be ok for next few yrs but when you file AOS (I-485) change her back to dependent visa inorder to include her in I-485. even in dependent visa she can study but cant get any scholarship and also she cant work.

Let me enlighten you folks here who are talking about double standards.
First of all this has got nothing to do with with your immigration issue. Next, the Iranian President has said that Israel should not exist and even denied the holocaust. With their nuclear program underway and talks going on, it was being thought that a more moderate leader will come to helm. Apparently it is now being believed that the elections were rigged. With a moderate leader, it is quite possible that talks may begin and an imminent Israel-Iran war be averted. How can 11 million votes be rigged? If they are counted fast in a few hours, yes they can be rigged.
Every country has issues that their population follows. Its no different than any issue that is followed in Indian media. When one issue dies down, another is brought in forefront. Why are you even surprised?

ok..from what I have been hearing from my multiple friends and company's attorneys, USCIS has been digging deep into most of the 485s..
Our company guy said, there is some new policy in 485 processing which is causing them to gather lot of other information (I havent seen this policy published anywhere..so thought this guy is bluffing)..but I dont know many ppl have been saying about such RFEs or RFEs which were not raised before are more common now.
Look at my other thread as an example.
Hopefully you resolve it fast
I received one too...just this morning I received emails stating that RFE was sent for me and my wife....mine is a straight forward case
1) I am with the same employer since I applied for my GC
2) Still on H1B
3) No AC21
4) With a very good company ( medium sized) which never laid off any employees so far
5) Not a labour substitution
I am still wondering what it could be...well I guess i will have to wait for a couple of days more to find out.
But, I am glad that atleast they started looking at my case...this is the first time since August 2007 there is an LUD on my case
