Did you LC mention the requirements for your job. Unless it emphasized that a Masters was needed for your job profile on an LC, I140 will be denied. File an MTR right away along with a new I140 uner EB3. Beleive in god and ur priority dates will remain the same as they were. Make sure that the new I140 under EB3 matches your LC.

IMHO, Father & Son "feels" better, while Solitary Fisherman would be the best technically if it were cropped tighter (moreso on the left and top, being careful on the latter to avoid centering him or getting him high in the frame). To me, the rest of the shots have too much distracting material in the background (including Solitary #2, though that one is not as bad as the others, and the distracting element could be "solved" in Photoshop if the contest allows this ;)).
Edit to add more thoughts: If anyone tells you that you suck, keep practicing and prove them wrong (they're probably jealous anyway because they're even worse). I still have trouble with distracting backgrounds - that's probably the most frequent reason I send frames to the circular file, after technical errors (exposure, focus, etc.). Practice, not hundreds or thousands of frames per day of thoughtless practice, but concentrated, thoughtful practice, engaging the mind and paying attention to what's in the viewfinder (and what isn't, and what shouldn't be), is the way to improve. :)

We had to go through the same situation. If you have registered for online notifications then you will get an email about the RFE. The actual letter reaches the lawyer around 7 days after the RFE was generated. So you have enough time to complete the medical tests once you get the RFE email and then submit the response immediately when you get the letter.
The only thing is that USCIS sends back the original medical form along with the letter and asks the doctor to update that form.

hi,
this might look an essay but this is true ----------------
i filed my 485/ead/ap in july and i have received my ead. now the situation is very tense for me since my emloyer has stopped paying since july and when i asked for my salaries he said i will revoke your 140 and terminate your job if you crib about salary .
he is doing this to another colleague of my the same thing . now if we leave the company , he will get a valid reason to revoke the 140 and thats why we are not leaving too and we are hardly surviving without salries .
anyone has any suggestions on this issue , i will appreciate any suggestions

My attorney tells me they don't give employees copies of labor applications.
Is this normal? Would I need it in future - if I switch jobs 180 days after 485 etc?
Labor and 140 is property of the employer, most of the cases it is not provided to the employee. And yes thats pretty normal.
But if your employer instructs the attorney he can share the copies of the same with you.

Just in-case one gets layed-off and has an EAD, can that person buy a 7-Eleven or a Gas Station?
Can the EAD holder actually run the gas station/7-eleven by working/being present there? (Maybe he/she can work there and take all the profit but no salary).
What happens if there is an RFE asking for proof of employment during this period?
Can you not think anything other than a gas station or seven eeleven ? Come on guys think out side the box. I don't have a great idea to suggest you to begin with but I know gas station and grocery stores are very typical desi ideas

I think USCIS process cases based on the I485 RD. The IO gets the file and he approves if everything is ok with the file and assigns a visa number if it is available, they generally don't care about the PD because they don't want to go back and review the same file. They are doing their best to complete work on a file in one go instead of putting it through multiple queues and re-visiting the case again and again. Bottomline they are working effeciently by using their manpower more productively instead of going back and forth on the 1 million I485 files.
This is my take on the processing statergy used by USCIS. If everything was as mentioned in the manual they would have answered this question in an FAQ like they did for the July'07 receipting updates and FAQ's.
I maybe wrong, but the trend suggests what I have mentioned.

I need some serious help with my D50 equipment. I have no experience at all with SLR cameras, and have recently bought a bundle consisting of a Nikon D50 and a Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S Dxlens. Now I am interested in buying another lens (The Nikon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 AF Zoom Lens) in hope that these two lenses would suit my needs in amateur photography. I intend to photo landscapes, portraits and some ''macro'' (flowers and some insects). So, I would like to know if these lenses are an acceptable choice, having in mind that I can't afford to buy some expensive lenses, as my average monthly salary almost amounts to the price of these cheap ones. OK, fine then ... I stink as a photographer and should sell my equipment immediately. But as long as I'm here, I like Solitary Fisherman the best, then Father and Son, but I suggest cropping it to have a bit more space in front of them than behind them.

The key will be to see what kind of congress we will have, before that, it is pretty hard to make any prediction. In any case, i remember this may when President George Bush and the senators met at the white house, he (the prez) told that he believe to have a bill by the end of the year, he never mention before election.

Frankly speaking we are interested in utilising time effectively, rather than studying hard to get a MS. On the basis of her health grounds, she cannot attend the college.
Regarding fees, smaller college fees is around 6k, where as big name colleges around 13k,
smaller colleges are easy to get results.
We wanted to utilise OPT in the future, so we may have to incline towards F1!!!

They'll probably start with what Senate passes. and make some minor amendments.
If it passes the house, conference will be piece of cake.
Our best hope is:
1. When senators return to the constituencies for the memorial day recess, they receive a LOT of negative feedback about CIR and enough number of senators change their minds and vote in -ve and bill fails to make out of the Senate. Likelihood: 10-20%.
2. House of reps votes on this CIR and defeats it. Likelihood: 40-60%.
I hope one way or another, this piece of crap fails and I happily get my GC in another 5-10 years. If it passes, I'll have to pack my bags. Amen.
