Aw man :(
I would love, love, LOVE to help. But I'm so time-strapped right now I'm not even keeping up with Nintendo Players adequately. Part-time IT job + student = suckage.

Well pffft to IGN. I was at the store yesterday and  there was a stack of Theme Park for DS. Sweet! So I got it for $29.99 cdn. Saved me from importing it. Almost dead on to the PSX version, a little more advanced than the Genesis one, but not quite as advanced as the PC version. The stylus control isn't perfect but it works better than a pad thats for sure.

Yeah there is a major problem with backlit wireless keyboards: The batteries aren't going to last for months anymore, are they? Where is all that power for the lights going to come from?
Since when do they last months!?
I would love a backlit keyboard! Laser cut aluminium keys with 16.5 million colour LEDs please :D

Sweet machines, man. And I'm glad to see System 6 installed on a least one of them - I'm a big believer of running 6 if the machine supports it.

More about it here (http://www.macworld.com/news/2005/07/05/smithmicro/index.php?lsrc=mcrss).
Smith Micro makes FAXstf X (fax software) and QuickLink Mobile (wireless connectivity software) and was interested in Allume because of their newly developed compression software.Allume recently announced the development of a JPEG compression technique that yields a 30 percent reduction in the size of images without any penalty on image quality, and the company expects to be able to apply a similar technique to MPEG video and MP3 audio files.

I had a similar experience at Somerset in Michigan. I walked out after 4 hours when only 20 people had been processed. It was really disheartening. I agree that they should have either scrapped the walk-in line or processed them at an equal speed until the 100 or so phones they had were gone. Employees kept encouraging us that it would only take "a few hours" in the walk-in line, too. It was just such an unfair process. Why do walk-ins at all? Ugh.
I called the store today, and of course they "got a new shipment." Pretty disgusted with Apple right now. I get having a low supply to increase demand, but do you really need to tease the people who are so loyal to your company that they show up hours before your store opens? Cruel.

You can always downgrade, unless there's something in 4.3.1 you really need.

Algoriddim has reduced the price of its djay app for the iPhone and iPod touch from $4.99 down to $.99 for a limited time. djay (http://appshopper.com/music/djay-for-iphone-ipod-touch) for the iPhone and iPod touch debuted (http://www.macrumors.com/2011/03/15/algoriddims-djay-arrives-on-iphone-and-ipod-touch/) in the App Store last month and was preceded by a version for the iPad (http://appshopper.com/music/djay) released in December (http://www.macrumors.com/2010/12/02/djay-application-for-ipad-released/).
djay provides a virtual turntable interface for music mixing and scratching as well as beat-matching, EQ controls and more. The app takes advantage of several features that debuted with iOS 4.2 in November (http://www.macrumors.com/2010/11/22/ios-4-2-1-now-available/) including full access to the iPod library and AirPlay.

It appears to be dead. Does anyone know when it will be relaunched?
I think they might have spent all their time and energy on the press release at the top of this thread, and didn't have anything left for the site itself. :p

The product that Larry reviewed can be found here: http://www.thehishop.com/
They have the back oleo protectors but the front cutout is a single opening and not separate cutouts.
As a side note, when SGP first released their oleophobic protectors they were separate cutouts and somewhere down the line they decided to switch to a single cutout (not sure why).
Thanks for the link.
Now I am confused. You say that SGP first made the oleo protectors with two cuts and then one cut.
Does the current oleos have single or double cut?

Are you saying that you are not impressed by this feature just because it doesn't fit YOUR need, even though you emphasize that it works very well if you have a small screen (most Mac users have the laptop)?
Runs smooth as butter on my 11" 2GB machine.
I am saying that this feature isn't very important to me. I know that for people with relative small displays or other needs, that full screen is a good idea (as I said before).
I am still giving Full screen mode a chance. I have been using mail and Safari in full screen the whole day and I am trying to find reasons to use it, but I think it doesn't fit in my workflows.

Hmm, I personally think that you can still use the Elevator comfortably, as it's only 5 inches high. You could also connect a wireless keyboard + mouse if that would be more comfortable.
I have just purchased an apple wireless keyboard and magic mouse, I think I'm going to get the griffin and purchase a 23" apple display with some money I saved for an iPad 2 but never got due too the rumors of the 3 coming out in less than a year
