Good Morning Lovelies!
I hope that all is well in your world. It's such a beautiful day! As a matter of fact the days have been wonderful since late last week. (at least in my neck of the woods). I'm loving the weather change. I can leisurely sit on my patio and eat or read w/o the buggies coming to get me.
Anyhoo, aside from striving to flow (in my appearance cause I do like to be cute) on a daily basis I also am seeking to be more health conscious. Naturally. By this I mean that my ultimate goal is to be a raw foodist/vegan and using more natural products in my home and for health (i.e. herbs and essential oils) . Now I have come to grips w/the fact that this will not happen overnight so presently I am working out (in writing) a plan of action for me to get to this goal. While doing alot of research. I don't know about you but I have 3 generations before me of diabetes staring me in my face and I want none of it!
So how about you? Are making choices/decisions to live a healthier lifestyle? If so, what are they? or are you even concerned about it?.....

Where to Find Gas in the "A"
If you don't already know, the gas situation in the Southeast is ridiculous. It's downright crucial in the ATL area!
Seeing as I don't want to see anyone on the side of the road (including myself), here is a website that will help you. Just go to www.atlantagasprices.com and look on the left panel for city location. You can also click on the time frame for more current info. (i.e. 24 hours, 16 hours, 4 hours). Keep in mind that this is not a guarantee but it definitely is a lead. And let me not forget, www.11alive.com can lead you to station w/gas, also.
I think I need to start checking out public transpo. What's the old saying, "Marta is Smarter."...
Oh, by the way. A helpful move (note: this can be painful) is to adhere to the speed limit. Yeah, I know. It hurts to do but makes that tank of gas last much longer.

Is It Just Too Much or Just Right
Good Morning Beautifuls!
I hope that all is well in your world. I was listening to the radio this morning and one of my fav. songs of the moment came on, "Bust the Windows Out Your Car" by Jazmine Sullivan which seems to be causing a bit of a stir, maybe even a little controversy. Now let me first tell you that I'm not one to advocate vandalism. And I'm definitely not condoning any type retaliation due to a broken heart. However, to me this is an awesome song! It's artistic. It's theatrical... It's real. I love this artist's voice and her delivery of the song is powerful and full of emotion. ..sidenote: I'll be seeing her, along w/Maxwell in concert in Nov. Can't wait! Will post on that!
Anyhoo, yesterday I was speaking w/some other ladies about this song and one of them comically (yet honestly) replied, "I can appreciate this song.". cracked me up. But I understand.
What are your feelings on this song?...

Allow Me Introduce Myself
Good morning! Good afternoon! Good evening! Which ever one fits where you are at. I am ChocolateOrchid. I've been wanting to create my own blog for awhile. Finally the procrastinating got to me and I decided to "just do it". Am I nervous? A little. I must admit that it's kinda scary putting myself out there, however I feel as if I have to do it. I follow other blogs and the more I read them the more I feel empowered to do my own thing.
Either way, I am excited to begin this new chapter in my life. This is but one of a few things that I'm embarking upon. (Will discuss that in another post.) In doing this I hope that I can learn something from you and maybe you can learn something from me. I'm all about the positive. I hope you are too.
Peace....
